Le Journal des Mouches

My name is Alberto, I am from Spain and this is the first post of a new blog about Helena Josefsson and the bands Sandy Mouche and Son of a Plumber.

It is made ...

- because I wanted to put in order the information we can get about Helena, SM and SOAP in the net,
- and in order not to saturate the Official Fan Forum with too much information and pictures.

I thought it will be easier to put the dates of the events as a Journal: Le Journal des Mouches (that means, the Flies Journal, but it actually refers to Sandy Mouche and Helena Josefsson).

I will be updating this blog and I wish it will be ready very soon.

Welcome!

PS1. Journal des Mouches is only a blog made by a fan. It is not official, but it takes Official sources.

PS2. If you find any photo or information that you think it shouldn't be here, please tell me and I will change it for sure. Thank you

PS3. If you want to publish an article in this simple Journal, just send me an e-mail lantartida (at) yahoo (dot) es

EHM Turné 10 - Visby

24 July Visby Östergravar

Comments by fans:
Sweden is a country that has a huge attraction for me… Since I was a kid I've grown up looking pictures of this country and loving its scenery, its beautiful cities… All this love for Sweden has a reason in Per Gessle, my favourite artist who is Swedish. First time I listened him I was just 9 years old and since that day I wanted to know more and more of the country of my idol. The truth is I don't know why it has taken me this long time to go to this great country… each holyday I wanted to go there but never had the chance I guess. This year is completely different; finally I'll go to Sweden next 4th of August until 10th of August visiting few cities. Once again the principal reason that pushes me to go is Mr.Gessle as he's touring Sweden and I couldn't lose this opportunity of seeing my favourite artist in one of my favourite countries… A dream comes true. Now I'm trying to learn Swedish by myself (quite difficult I must say!!) and I'm so excited about the journey. Can't wait to see Per Gessle on stage and to enjoy the travel, the country, the people, food… everything!! Yes… I'm happy…

HJ's spreading summer light (VII): Friheten, Visby, Gotland

Friheten, Visby, Gotland, Sweden 2007/07/23
Trio-concert in this cosy restaurant!

Friheten AB
Besöksadress: Strandgatan 6
Postadress: Rutegatan 95
621 43 Visby

And here are two pictures from this summer, when Martinique, Christoffer and I played in Visby, Gotland, in addition to the Gessle tour.

A big part of the crew came to the show as a cheering audience, and the air was very very thick and the room felt like it had ghosts in it, the music loved it in there.

What song should be the Dynamo's fourth single? Obviously we don't know it, but HJ Official Forum's members have chosen an hypothetic fourth single. The winner is "Sleepyhead" (71 %) and the second option would be "Waterlily love" (29 %).

There shouldn´t have to be a fourth single. The second album is on its way! Helena Josefsson (H.J.) has said: "I have written a lot of new songs for another album and I have noticed that the songs feel very happy compared to what I have done before."

EHM Turné 9 - Strömstad

22 July Strömstad Strömsvallen

Official video

Free day! Wow! Four gigs in four days! Eight gigs in ten days! The tour man is well trained! We had a great show yesterday in Strömstad despite the rain and the cold wind. A bunch of umbrellas rose together with an enormous number of Northern men. Cool. The scene was quite slippery but we’re getting used to it by now….the super-band made its day. We had a buss-party afterwards, on the way to Göteborg, and today the guys are free. Free and quite exhausted. So I end now. See ya.

Göteborg was a big party for 12000 people on the great Slottskogsvallen, the place where Gunder Hägg set his record 1000 years ago. Göteborg is always a very special place to sing. I feel like home out there. The response is outstanding right from the very first chords and yesterday it was the same. Thanks to everybody who was there yesterday and who is hoarse today!!!! We also played for the filming team that is taking care of the up-coming DVD. We continue with the show in Stockholm in August. We tried to escape from the boring rain. We had a famous visitor after the gig; James Burton of Elvis’ band came to see us. He is a buddy of MP’s. My family is in Liseberg, their flight is leaving immediately. Get to Strömstad at 4 am. See ya there

Here I just want to share some photos with you.

Here you can see my big sister Charlotta and I, and on the right her friend, after the show in Gothenburg. I showed them to the tour bus when no one was around, I wanted to show them all the facilities. I have never seen such a luxurious thing: massage chair in the bus, dvd movies to watch in a leather couch, fridge full of beverages, and lots of beds! Look at the beautiful sunflowers that Ilya from Russia brought… It felt so unreal, like a fairy tale… It was a great night thanks to the audience and the good weather!

Take a look at the fantastic flowers… Don´t they make you happy! Flowers are so alive, they bring life to a whole apartment!

Love, Helena

We woke up late. weary. strolled down just in time for breakfast haha! we wandered into town and looked around the shops for a little while. It was a bit wet outside so we didnt wanna go over to Slottskogsvallen to too early. That and of course waiting is boring, so any excuse to avoid it!!! We found this lovely little jewellery shop… cant believe I havent seen it there before! Got the cutest star necklace. definately one for gig-going hahaha. By the time we’d finished looking around, had some lunch and gone back to the hotel, it was getting pretty close to opening time at the venue so we had to get going. There were a few people there but nothing tooo much. We made the front row! and it was filmed for the DVD heheh… sooo hope i’m not on there. Per was really performing for the cameras that night… it was one hell of an amazing show. Felt really sad when it was over just knowing that it would be another 12 days until my next show hahaha!!!

19 July Helsingborg Sofiero Slott

Official video

Ailsa Plain (a.k.a. xarrrr), from UK, was there with her friends Klair Wellings and Stina. This is her story:
We arrived in Copenhagen to be greeted by Stina at the Airport! so great to see her again, its been 4 years!!! We picked up our hire-car and began the journey to Helsingborg… crossed over the Øresund Bridge… WOW… it is actually quite something. Had a lovely drive up the west coast before arriving in beautiful Hbg in the afternoon. There is just something about that city… i’ve been on 3 tours now and I’ve visited Hbg for every single one. Same venue, more or less same friends attending… awesome. We tried to check into our hotel but we were too early, so we headed over to Sofiero to see how many people were already waiting. And hey, not many were! woo!!! So we waited a while and then Klair and I went back to check in. By the time we got back there were more people. We waited in the sun, made silly pictures of Munkeh and listened to the soundcheck. Bliss. The show that night was absolutely amazing!!! The whole band were on top form, Per looked (and sounded!) amazing, Christoffer and Helena were great, Clarence, Magnus, MP and Jens were all wonderful too! After 4 years of not seeing this bunch together, it was really awesome. I met Helena Josefsson too!!! She is possibly the SWEETEST person I have ever met!!! To Helena if you ever read this page - THANK YOU so much for what you did in Malmö!!

Klair Wellings (a.k.a. redsgarden), from UK, also wrote her story. :

I started this tour with a scary lack of enthusiasm, I mean, of course its always wonderful to be in Sweden, but my on-going total pissed-off-with-Per mindset just refuses to budge. The jump-up-and-down excitement wasn’t there. The compulsion to do crazy-fan-stuff wasn’t there. Hell, I hadn’t even listened to the CD. Utterly disgraceful behaviour I know. Helsingborg was our first show, familiar territory. Familiar fans. Familiar setlist. But by the end of the evening I had been reminded why I have followed this man for 18 years. Like all the scruffy haired musicians of the world, for the short time that they are on that stage, my heart will always belong to them.

One more fantastic show!!!! Sofiero, we love you! A perfect afternoon with a party-mood band in front of how many, 9500 people? Maybe more? Anyway, it was damn cool. Happy thoughts and lots of friends from here and far away came out after the gig. And the beefsteak a la lindström from the catering was a success. And now the sun is shining here in Halmstad. We’ll be heading to Västervik where the world is already waiting for us. It will be cool! The best in the kitchen: Dave Edmunds’ Queen of hearts and Justin Timberlake’s What goes around.... luv around the clock.
